Carbon Statement Travel

By providing end users with the emissions relating to their business travel you can encourage more environmentally friendly and cost effective alternatives such as voice and video conferencing and car sharing. Engaging employees with their own Carbon Statement that they can manage also raises awareness and supports wider corporate emission reduction activities.

Carbon Statement can take the details of all employee expenses reclaimed against the company for travel including air, train, taxi travel, car mileage and hotel stays. The associated emissions are calculated which are then reported back to the employee. League tables and reporting by cost centre and business unit can be provided to add incentives for users to reduce their business travel.

Demonstrating carbon management and reporting at an individual user level can also support companies' applications for the Carbon Trust Standard as well as capturing Scope 3 emissions for reporting to the Carbon Disclosure Project.
